When you are working in a computer application you aren’t as familiar with, I suggest you try right-clicking on various areas of the screen, you will usually see a popup menu with all sorts of options you might have been unaware of. This is a great way to learn about the program, and pick up some quick tips for using it.
You can also try variations on this – click on different elements and areas of the screen, in a word-processing program, highlight text and right-click on it.
